Three products under one brand
The line carrying the story is not a single app. Gewerkton divides the workflow across three products that share one brand and are designed to work together.
Gewerkton Field is the voice-first construction site app. Its scope covers dictation to evidence, defects, daywork reports, takt and a portal. The emphasis is on capturing information where work happens, including offline capture in dead zones. That is relevant on geographically distributed projects, inside infrastructure sites and anywhere a dependable connection cannot be assumed.
Gewerkton Studio is the browser workspace for plans and models. It also addresses projects where no model exists: the site team can create one directly in the browser. This gives captured field information a visual project context without making an existing model a prerequisite.
Gewerkton Cloud handles operations and model or data coordination between Field, Studio and third parties. In that structure, Field records what is happening, Studio provides the plan and model workspace, and Cloud coordinates information across the system and beyond it.
Everything remains under the beta label. The products define the current scope of the platform, but the public beta is still planned for fall 2026. For prospective users, the clearest reading is that the product architecture and use cases are visible now while wider public beta access remains ahead.

German integration, global operating model
Gewerkton’s deepest commercial integration is German. The platform includes GAEB, REB, XRechnung and DATEV integration, reflecting the market in which it originated. At the same time, the product is explicitly positioned for global markets rather than being limited to one country.
Its 27 content languages are meant to support cross-border teams working across the EU, US and APAC on the same project. Each participant can work in their own language while the original evidence remains unambiguous. On projects in Asia, the stated coverage includes Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese crews, with multilingual handling from initial capture through to the report.
This is particularly significant in construction because multilingual support must extend beyond the interface. Gewerkton’s proposition covers the content itself: what a person records, how that information is handled and what ultimately appears in project reporting.
The AI layer follows a similarly regional approach. Gewerkton’s BYO-AI model supports 13 AI providers and allows customers to bring their own keys. Provider regions can be selected across the EU, US and Asia, including mainland China. The stated goal is to avoid vendor lock-in while allowing AI-provider choice to follow regional requirements.
Data residency is also selectable. Project data can be held in an EU cloud or on the user’s own infrastructure. For work in Asia, data residency remains a matter of choice rather than a single fixed deployment path.
Where the platform is intended to work
Gewerkton identifies a broad but coherent set of construction environments:

A solo founder and a fleet of coding agents
The development story is unusually concentrated. Gewerkton is being built by a solo founder directing a fleet of coding agents using Codex and Claude. In one night, that fleet shipped 21 software packages. The packages were verified with negative controls and mutation tests.
That detail does not change the beta status, but it does indicate how the platform is being produced. The coding-agent fleet is part of the development model rather than a customer-facing product line. Gewerkton’s commercial products remain Field, Studio and Cloud.
