More Details on Our Top Picks
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little) – Amazon Exclusive
This holiday 4-pack stands out for offering a colorful mix of four distinct characters—Maritza the Cactus, Stevon the Golden Retriever, Clayton the Blue Cow, and Tinsley the Peppermint Latte—each with unique bios that enhance their collectible appeal. Compared to the single-character options like Ulysses or Nick, this set provides variety, making it ideal for gifting groups or families. However, the set’s focus on seasonal characters limits its use beyond the holidays, and the lack of size details might affect those seeking specific dimensions. The plush material is ultrasoft and high-quality, ensuring a cuddly experience, but the seasonal exclusivity could reduce its long-term versatility.
Pros:- Includes four distinct, themed characters with bios
- High-quality ultrasoft plush material
- Official Jazwares product, Amazon exclusive
Cons:- Limited to holiday-themed characters only
- No size details provided, which may affect size expectations
Best for: Families or collectors seeking a fun, limited-edition holiday set with multiple characters.
Not ideal for: Buyers looking for versatile, year-round plush toys, since this set is holiday-specific and seasonal.
- Includes:4 Squishmallows
- Characters:Maritza, Stevon, Clayton, Tinsley
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
Our verdict“This set is perfect for holiday gifting or collectors who want a variety of festive plush characters.”
Squishmallows Holiday Fox 14” Plush
The Holiday Fox plush offers a standout for those who prefer a single, character-driven collectible, especially compared to larger multi-character sets like Ulysses the Black Christmas Tree. Its ultrasoft, high-quality material makes it cuddly and appealing, and the unique name and bio deepen its collectible charm. The lack of detailed features or care instructions limits its appeal for buyers seeking more interactive or detailed plush toys. Compared with the Nick Santa, the Fox’s charm lies in its distinct design and personality, making it a good gift for fans who value character stories but less ideal for those wanting a plush with multiple uses or display options.
Pros:- Ultra-soft, high-quality plush material
- Unique character with a personalized name and bio
- Official Squishmallows product
Cons:- Limited details on features or care instructions
- No additional interactive elements or accessories
Best for: Collectors or holiday gift buyers seeking a high-quality, standalone plush with character personality.
Not ideal for: Shoppers wanting a plush with detailed features, multiple characters, or size options, as this is a straightforward single plush.
Our verdict“Ideal for those who want a cuddly, character-rich plush to add to their holiday collection.”
Squishmallows 14in Nick the Santa Claus Plush
Nick the Santa Claus plush combines the nostalgic appeal of Santa with a fun twist—wearing a Hawaiian shirt—making it stand out from more traditional holiday plush like the Black Christmas Tree. Its 14-inch size strikes a balance between portability and display presence, perfect for cuddling or decorating. The plush’s ultrasoft material ensures comfort, and the authenticity seal affirms quality. However, its specific holiday theme and Santa focus limit its appeal to fans of Santa or holiday-themed plush toys. Compared with the larger Ulysses, Nick’s more traditional Santa look might resonate more with classic holiday decor, but it is less versatile for year-round use.
Pros:- Soft, ultrasoft plush material for cuddling
- Unique Santa character with a fun Hawaiian shirt twist
- Authentic Squishmallows product with seal of authenticity
Cons:- Limited to fans of holiday or Santa-themed plush toys
- Size may be too small for some display needs
Best for: Holiday enthusiasts or collectors who want a distinctive Santa plush with a playful twist.
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking a plush that fits into a more general collection or non-holiday themes, as this is specifically holiday-centric.
- Size:14 inches
- Character:Nick the Santa Claus
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
Our verdict“A charming choice for holiday fans who want a playful Santa plush with a unique look.”
Squishmallows 20in Ulysses The Black Christmas Tree Plush
Ulysses the Black Christmas Tree plush makes a bold statement with its size and unique design, standing out compared to the smaller Nick or Fox. Its 20-inch form offers a striking presence, ideal for holiday decor or serious collectors who want a sizable, plush holiday icon. The ultrasoft, high-quality material ensures cuddly comfort, and its bio and name add personality. The main tradeoff is its size—less suitable for small children or casual use—plus, its seasonal exclusivity means it might not see much use outside the holidays. Compared with the smaller holiday characters, Ulysses excels in display but sacrifices versatility.
Pros:- Impressive 20-inch size for display and decor
- Unique holiday-themed black Christmas tree design
- High-quality, ultrasoft plush material
- Has a fun bio and personality
Cons:- Limited to seasonal or holiday use
- Only available in one character design
- Too large for small children or casual cuddling
Best for: Collectors or families looking for a large, eye-catching holiday plush to serve as decor or a statement piece.
Not ideal for: Parents of small children or buyers seeking a portable, everyday plush toy, due to its large size and seasonal focus.
- Size:20 inches
- Character:Ulysses the Black Christmas Tree
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
Our verdict“Perfect for holiday decor or collectors seeking a distinctive, sizable plush centerpiece.”
Squishmallows 10-Inch Ignacio Snowman Holiday Plush
Ignacio the Snowman offers a compact, 10-inch size that makes it a versatile plush for kids and collectors alike. Its super soft, cuddly texture makes it ideal for small hands and everyday hugging, contrasting with larger options like Ulysses. Its limited character focus means it’s less suited for those wanting a variety of characters or seasonal decor, but it shines as a holiday gift or collectible for fans of snowman themes. Compared to the larger Nick Santa, Ignacio is more portable and easier to incorporate into daily play or display, though its size may feel too small for those who prefer larger plush toys.
Pros:- Super soft, cuddly plush material
- Encourages imaginative play and collection
- Ideal size for small hands and portability
Cons:- Limited character scope to Snowman
- May be too small for those seeking larger plush toys
- Only suitable for ages 3 and up
Best for: Parents shopping for a cute, manageable holiday plush for children or collectors seeking a smaller, cuddly snowman.
Not ideal for: Buyers wanting a large or multi-character holiday plush, as Ignacio’s size limits its display impact and character variety.
- Size:10 inches
- Character:Snowman
- Age Range:3 years and up
Our verdict“A charming, small-sized holiday plush that appeals to kids and collectors wanting a cute snowman.”
Squishmallows 5-Inch Holiday Plush 6-Pack – Christmas Cozy Squad
This 6-pack of 5-inch plush toys offers a charming variety of festive characters like Cam the Calico Cat and Darla the Reindeer, making it ideal for holiday decorating, gifting, or small-scale collection. Compared with larger plush options, these mini designs are more portable and easier to display in small spaces, but their size limits appeal for those seeking a more substantial cuddle or display piece. The detailed holiday-themed accessories add a fun seasonal touch, though their limited size confines their use mainly to holiday themes rather than year-round display. This set is perfect for those who want to add quick holiday cheer without the commitment of larger plushes. However, it’s less suitable for collectors wanting bigger, more prominent pieces or for children who prefer more substantial toys. Overall, this set makes sense for holiday gift-givers and decorators looking for cute, compact plushes to brighten up small spaces or stockings.Pros:- Includes a variety of festive characters in one set
- Compact size perfect for cuddling and carrying
- Great as holiday gifts or decorations
Cons:- Limited to 5-inch size, may not appeal for larger plush fans
- Only suitable for holiday-themed use
Best for: Families or individuals seeking small, festive plush toys for holiday decorating or gift-giving.
Not ideal for: Collectors wanting larger, more detailed plush or children who prefer bigger toys for cuddling.
- Quantity:6-pack
- Size:5 inches
- Characters:Cam, Darla, Brooke, Milanda, Lala, Ryan
Our verdict“This set is ideal for holiday enthusiasts who want quick, festive décor or stocking stuffers without the need for large plushes.”
Squishmallows 8in Fleur the Yule Log with Holly – Official Holiday Plush
The 8-inch Fleur the Yule Log plush stands out for its soft, ultrasoft material and festive holiday design, making it a charming addition to holiday collections or decor. Unlike the larger 12-inch Hedda the Milk for Santa, Fleur offers a more manageable size for display on shelves or mantels, though her niche holiday theme limits use beyond the season. The inclusion of a bio and name enhances her appeal as a collectible, but her holiday-specific design may leave collectors wanting more versatile, year-round characters. This plush fits best with those who enjoy whimsical holiday decor or are building a themed collection, yet it might not satisfy those seeking more substantial or versatile plush toys. Overall, Fleur appeals to holiday decorators and collectors who appreciate detailed, festive characters, despite her seasonal limitations.Pros:- Soft, high-quality plush material
- Unique character with festive design
- Includes a bio and name for collectibility
Cons:- Limited to 8 inches, smaller than some collectors prefer
- Holiday-only theme may reduce year-round appeal
- Design may be too niche for some
Best for: Holiday decor enthusiasts and collectors seeking a unique, whimsical Christmas-themed plush.
Not ideal for: Buyers wanting larger, more versatile plush toys or those looking for year-round collectibles.
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Figure Type:Stuffed Toy
- Character:Fleur the Yule Log with Holly
- Model Name:Style 1
- Unit Count:1
- Size:8 inches
Our verdict“This plush is perfect for seasonal collectors and decorators who want a charming, whimsical holiday piece.”
Squishmallows 10-Inch Brooke Polar Bear Holiday Plush
The 10-inch Brooke Polar Bear offers a plush, cuddly experience ideal for children and collectors alike. Its adorable holiday-themed design makes it a charming gift, especially compared to the smaller 5-inch sets, which lack the same presence and comfort. However, some may find 10 inches too small for older kids or adults seeking a more substantial plush for hugging or display. Designed for kids aged 3 and up, this plush is a versatile choice for travel, bedtime, or holiday gifting, but it might not satisfy those wanting a larger decorative piece or a plush with more detailed features. Overall, Brooke makes a strong case as a cozy, cute gift for younger children or those wanting an easy-to-carry holiday companion.Pros:- Super soft and cuddly, ideal for hugging
- Adorable holiday design
- Suitable for travel and bedtime
Cons:- Limited to a single plush, may not satisfy collectors
- Some may find 10 inches too small for older children or adults
Best for: Parents and gift-givers seeking a soft, adorable, holiday-themed plush for children age 3 and up.
Not ideal for: Collectors or adults desiring larger, more detailed plush for display or collection purposes.
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Figure Type:Stuffed Toy
- Character:Polar Bear
- Model Name:SQXM01070
- Model Number:SQXM01070
- Number of Packs:1
- UPC:191726808756
- Age Range Description:3 years and up
Our verdict“This plush is a cozy, festive gift perfect for young children or anyone needing a small holiday cuddle buddy.”
Squishmallows 12in Hedda the Milk for Santa Plush
Hedda the Milk for Santa at 12 inches strikes a balance between size and detail, making it an appealing choice for holiday collectors or those who want a prominent seasonal plush. Compared to the smaller Fleur the Yule Log, Hedda offers a bit more presence on shelves or displays, but her seasonal motif limits her usefulness beyond Christmas. The plush’s ultrasoft fabric ensures a cozy feel, though her size may be less appealing for very young children who prefer smaller toys for easy handling. This pick is ideal for collectors seeking a distinctive holiday piece or for those wanting a larger plush to serve as a holiday decor accent, but it’s less suited for everyday play or year-round display. Hedda’s design and size make her a festive centerpiece, despite her seasonal exclusivity.Pros:- Soft, ultrasoft plush material
- Officially licensed and collectible
- Fun holiday theme with a distinctive character
Cons:- Limited to holiday season use
- Medium size may be too small for some older children or adults
Best for: Holiday collectors or those decorating for Christmas who want a plush with a bit more size and presence.
Not ideal for: Parents seeking a plush toy for very young children or buyers wanting year-round plush collection pieces.
- Size:12 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft, high-quality fabric
- Brand:Jazwares
- Character:Hedda the Milk for Santa
Our verdict“Hedda is a charming, medium-sized holiday plush that adds festive presence to any seasonal collection or display.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little) – Amazon Exclusive
This exclusive 4-pack of mini Squishmallows features festive characters like Ingred the Purple Cow and Luna the Penguin, making it perfect for holiday gifting or adding a touch of seasonal cheer to small spaces. Compared with larger 10- or 12-inch plush, these tiny versions are more affordable and easier to distribute as stocking stuffers or party favors, but their small size limits their role as main plush or display pieces. Each comes with a unique bio, adding to their collectible charm, yet they lack the detailed features found in bigger plushes, which may disappoint collectors seeking more intricate designs. Overall, this bundle is a practical choice for those wanting multiple holiday characters at a lower price point, though it may not satisfy those seeking larger, more substantial plush toys.Pros:- Festive and adorable holiday-themed characters
- Made with ultrasoft, cuddly material
- Includes unique bios for each character
Cons:- Limited to holiday-themed characters
- May be too small for some collectors or older children
Best for: Budget-conscious shoppers or holiday hosts looking to distribute multiple plush gifts or decorate small areas.
Not ideal for: Collectors wanting larger or highly detailed plush or buyers seeking plush toys for everyday use.
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Figure Type:Plush
- Quantity:4-pack
- Material:Ultrasoft fabric
Our verdict“This holiday 4-pack offers a colorful, affordable way to share seasonal cheer or expand small plush collections.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday Micromallows Plush Bouquet
This holiday-themed plush bouquet stands out for its compact size and festive appeal, making it ideal for display or gifting in small spaces. Unlike larger plush options like the Squishmallows Buddy the Elf 12in Plush, these Micromallows are perfect for collectors who want a quick holiday accent without investment in size. The inclusion of three distinct characters—Laurel, Zumir, and Brooke—adds variety, but their small 2.5-inch size limits their appeal to those seeking cuddly companions or detailed plushes. While their soft, plush texture is inviting, the limited size means they lack intricate features and may not satisfy fans of larger, more detailed Squishmallows. This makes them a smart pick for holiday decor or small gift exchanges, but less ideal for those looking for plush toys to cuddle or display prominently.
Pros:- Compact size makes them easy to display or carry
- Includes three different characters for variety
- Soft and plush, suitable for cuddling
Cons:- Limited to small size, not suitable for cuddling or display as main plush
- Only appealing to collectors or dedicated fans of Squishmallows
- Lack of detailed features due to tiny scale
Best for: Collectors with limited space seeking festive, collectible decor.
Not ideal for: Children or plush enthusiasts wanting larger, cuddle-ready toys.
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:3 Micromallows
- Characters:Laurel, Zumir, Brooke
- Theme:Holiday
Our verdict“This set suits collectors or holiday decorators looking for charming, small festive plushes rather than cuddly companions.”
Squishmallows Micromallows Holiday Advent Calendar
This advent calendar offers a fun, collectible way to count down to Christmas with 24 miniature Squishmallows, making it ideal for fans who enjoy daily surprises. Compared with the Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack, this set provides a longer engagement period, but the small 2.5-inch size might not satisfy those seeking plush toys to cuddle or display prominently. The inclusion of popular characters like Benny the Bigfoot and Cam the Cat adds to its appeal, yet the repetitive holiday theme could become monotonous for some collectors. Its small size makes it perfect for holiday decor or stocking stuffers, but less suited for children who prefer larger plush companions or for year-round display outside the holiday season.
Pros:- Includes 24 miniature plush Squishmallows for daily surprises
- Official Squishmallows product with high collectible appeal
- Features popular holiday characters like Benny and Cam
Cons:- Small size limits appeal for cuddling or display as main plush
- Repetitive holiday themes may bore some collectors
- Limited use outside the holiday season
Best for: Holiday enthusiasts and collectors who want a festive countdown experience.
Not ideal for: Children preferring larger plush toys for cuddling or everyday use.
- Size:2.5 inches
- Number of Items:24
- Theme:Holiday/Christmas
Our verdict“This advent calendar is ideal for dedicated fans who enjoy holiday-themed collectibles and countdown traditions.”
Squishmallows Buddy the Elf 12in Plush
This 12-inch Buddy the Elf plush makes a strong case for those seeking a festive plush to cuddle during winter nights or travel. Unlike the tiny Micromallows, this larger plush offers a more substantial, cuddly experience and features high-quality, ultrasoft materials, making it perfect for long-term snuggling. Its official licensing from Warner Brothers lends it authenticity and appeal for fans of the Elf movie, but its single-character focus could be a drawback for those wanting a more diverse holiday plush collection. The size is well-suited for travel, but for those looking for a display piece or a plush for active play, the 12-inch may feel too small or too large, depending on preference. It’s a good choice for cozy nights, but less versatile for multi-character displays or interactive play.
Pros:- Soft, high-quality, ultrasoft material for cuddling
- Officially licensed by Warner Brothers
- Perfect size for travel and cuddling
Cons:- Limited to one character, reducing variety
- Size may not suit all display or play preferences
- Price comparison is difficult without other size options
Best for: Fans of Elf or those seeking a travel-friendly, cuddly holiday plush.
Not ideal for: Buyers wanting a collection of multiple characters or larger plush decor.
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Figure Type:Stuffed Toy
- Character:Buddy the Elf
- Size:12 inches
- Official License:Warner Brothers
- Age Range:Toddler
Our verdict“This plush is ideal for Elf fans and those who want a soft, travel-ready holiday cuddle buddy.”
Squishmallows Micromallows 4-Pack Holiday Wreath
This four-pack of tiny holiday-themed Micromallows offers a charming way to add festive touches to decorations or gift packages. Compared to larger plushes like the Squishmallows 14in Nick the Santa Claus Plush, these are more suited to accenting a holiday scene or filling small spaces. The set features characters like Falala the Fawn and Guri the Gnome, each with adorable, detailed designs, but the small 2.5-inch size means they lack the plushness and cuddly feel of bigger toys. Their limited scope to holiday themes and small size make them less appealing for those wanting year-round plush collection or large display items. Still, they serve well as stocking stuffers or mini decor pieces for festive environments.
Pros:- Cute and festive holiday designs
- Compact size perfect for decoration or collection
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited to holiday-themed characters
- Small size may not appeal for cuddling or display as main plush
- Includes only four characters, limiting variety
Best for: Holiday decorators and gift-givers seeking small, festive collectibles.
Not ideal for: Buyers wanting larger, cuddly plush toys for children or active play.
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:4 Micromallows
- Theme:Holiday Wreath
Our verdict“This set works best for holiday decor, mini collectibles, and gift embellishments rather than plush for cuddling or play.”
How We Picked
To determine the best Squishmallows holiday options, I evaluated each plush based on build quality, holiday relevance, size variety, and overall value. I considered whether the plush is a stand-alone piece or part of a set, as well as uniqueness and collectible appeal. Price was also a factor, especially in relation to the size and theme. The ranking reflects a blend of these criteria, prioritizing products that offer a balanced mix of quality, holiday spirit, and usability for gifting or decorating.Factors to Consider When Choosing Squishmallows Holiday List
Choosing the right holiday Squishmallows depends on several factors that go beyond just appearance. Size is key—larger plushes make more prominent decorations or gifts, while smaller ones are ideal for stocking stuffers. Consider whether you want a themed set for variety or a single standout character for a special gift. Thematic relevance is also important: some plushes are more festive and versatile, while others are niche seasonal collectibles. Price and durability matter too—more expensive plushes often feature higher-quality materials, but budget options can still bring plenty of holiday cheer. Lastly, think about storage and display space, especially if buying multiple or larger plushes, to avoid clutter after the season ends.Size and Display
Size impacts how a plush fits into holiday decor or gift wrapping. Larger plushes, like the 20-inch Ulysses, serve as festive centerpieces or room decorations. Smaller sizes, such as the 5-inch or 8-inch options, are perfect for stocking stuffers or little gifts. Consider where you plan to display or gift the plush—if space is tight, smaller options may be more practical. Keep in mind that bigger plushes tend to be more durable but also require more storage space after the holidays. Balancing size with your actual needs ensures your plush will be enjoyed long-term, not just during the season.
Theme and Relevance
Holiday-themed Squishmallows vary from classic Christmas icons to wintery creatures, so choose one that aligns with your recipient’s tastes or your decor. Sets or collections often feature a variety of characters, making them suitable for multiple recipients or as part of a holiday display. However, themed plushes may be less versatile outside the holiday season, so consider if you want a plush that can transition into year-round decor. Unique seasonal characters can become collectibles, but they may also be more expensive or limited in availability. Selecting a plush with broad appeal or a timeless holiday motif can maximize its value beyond December.
Build Quality and Material
High-quality materials and sturdy stitching are essential for plush durability, especially if the plush will be handled frequently or used as a gift for children. Cheaper plushes might look appealing initially but could wear out quickly or lose their shape. Look for plushes with soft yet resilient fabric, reinforced seams, and secure stuffing, which all contribute to longevity. Though premium plushes may cost more upfront, they often provide better tactile experience and withstand holiday handling. Keep this in mind to get a plush that remains soft and plushy season after season, offering lasting value.
Price and Value
Price varies significantly based on size, exclusivity, and whether the plush is part of a set. Sets like the 4-pack often deliver better overall value, especially if gifting multiple items. Larger, limited-edition plushes tend to be more expensive but can serve as statement pieces or collectibles. Budget options can still be adorable and festive but may compromise on durability or detail. Consider how much you want to invest—sometimes paying a bit more ensures a high-quality, durable plush that can be enjoyed for years to come. Balancing cost with your specific needs is key to making a satisfying purchase.
Storage and Versatility
After the holiday season, think about where and how you’ll store your plush. Smaller plushes are easier to tuck away, while larger ones require more space. Some plushes, especially those with neutral or non-seasonal designs, can be reused as year-round decor or gifts. Others are strictly seasonal and may lose appeal after the holidays. Choosing plushes that are versatile in their display or gift potential can extend their usefulness beyond December. Proper storage solutions will also keep your plushes looking fresh and cuddly for future seasons.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Squishmallows suitable for young children during the holidays?
Yes, Squishmallows are generally soft, safe, and suitable for children, making them a popular holiday gift option. Always check the manufacturer’s age recommendations, especially for smaller sizes, to ensure safety. Their plush construction makes them resilient to handling, and their cheerful designs can bring joy during the festive season. However, for very young children, inspect for loose parts or decorations that could pose choking hazards. Overall, Squishmallows are a safe, cuddly choice for most young recipients, especially when selected with age considerations in mind.
What size Squishmallows should I buy for a holiday gift?
The ideal size depends on your recipient and intended use. Larger plushes, such as 14-inch or 20-inch options, work well as decorative pieces or main gifts for collectors or older children. Smaller sizes, like 5-inch or 8-inch plushes, are perfect for stockings or as supplementary gifts. If you want a versatile gift that can serve as decor and a cuddle buddy, a mid-sized plush around 12 inches often hits the sweet spot. Think about the recipient’s preferences and available space to choose the most appropriate size.
Can I use holiday Squishmallows as decorations after Christmas?
Absolutely. Many Squishmallows feature classic holiday themes that can double as year-round decor if styled thoughtfully. For example, plushes like the holiday fox or snowman can fit into winter or rustic-themed displays beyond December. Larger or neutral-toned plushes, such as the black Christmas tree, can serve as festive accents in living rooms or bedrooms. However, some highly seasonal or character-specific plushes might feel out of place outside the holidays. Consider your decor style and the plush’s design when planning to reuse it for multiple seasons.
Are sets or multi-packs better value for holiday gifting?
Sets like the 4-pack or 6-pack often provide better overall value, especially when shopping for multiple recipients or stocking stuffers. They offer variety, allowing you to gift different characters or themes, which can be more exciting and festive. However, individual plushes can sometimes be more meaningful as a single, personalized gift. When choosing a set, weigh the total cost against the number of gifts or decor pieces you receive. Sets are especially convenient if you’re looking to create a cohesive holiday display or gift multiple plushes at once.
Conclusion
For those seeking a versatile, high-quality plush that can serve as a centerpiece or gift, the Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack makes the most sense. If you want a statement piece or a collectible, the Ulysses the Black Christmas Tree Plush offers a unique holiday accent. Budget shoppers will appreciate the smaller sets or individual plushes, while collectors or gift givers should consider larger or limited-edition options. Beginners might prefer starting with themed sets, whereas seasoned fans could opt for premium, rare characters. Ultimately, your choice should reflect your gift recipient’s age, space, and holiday spirit preferences.
